सहकारी भविष्यका लागि नयाँ दिल्ली एक्सन एजेण्डा: सबैका लागि समृद्धि

काठमाडौं : भारतको नयाँ दिल्लीमा जारी अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सहकारी सम्मेलन-२०२४ सम्पन्न भएको छ । नोभेम्बर २५ देखि ३० सम्म नयाँ दिल्ली स्थित भारत मण्डपम भएको सम्मेलनले चार वटा ‘एक्सन एजेण्डा’ जारी गरेको छ।

‘सहकारी भविष्यका लागि नयाँ दिल्ली एक्सन एजेण्डाः सबैका लागि समृद्धि’ नाम दिइएको उक्त एजेण्डाका ४ वटा मुख्य स्तम्भ छन् । सहकारी परिचयमा जोड, नीतिगत, कानूनी एवम् उद्यमशील पारिस्थितिक प्रणाली, बलियो नेतृत्व विकास र दिगो ‘सहकारी भविष्य’ निर्माण मुख्य स्तम्भ छन् । अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय महासंघ (आईसीए) ले यी एजेण्डाहरु कार्यान्वयनका लागि सरोकारवालाहरुलाई आग्रह समेत गरेको छ ।

सबै सरोकारवालाहरुको सहभागितामा असमानता, जलवायु संकट, आर्थिक अस्थिरता, युद्ध तथा अशान्ति, खुम्चिदो नागरिक अधिकारका पक्षमा सहकारीले आवाज बुलन्द गर्नुपर्ने भन्दै सम्मेलनले साझा ऐक्यबद्धता समेत जनाएको छ ।

विशेष गरी सहकारीमार्फत समृद्धि हासिल गर्न सहकारी संस्थाहरु, समुदाय, नागरिक समाज, निजी क्षेत्र, विचार प्रवर्तकहरु, नीति निर्माताहरु र बहुराष्ट्रिय कम्पनीको भूमिका उल्लेख्य रहने आईसीएले जनाएको छ ।

The New Delhi Action Agenda outlines a roadmap for achieving this future. It focuses on four key pillars:

Reaffirming our cooperative identity: This means living by our values and principles, investing in cooperative education, and safeguarding our cultural heritage. Grow our Coop Marque.

Enabling supportive policies: We need policies that empower cooperatives and unlock their full potential in the global economy.

Developing strong leadership: We must cultivate inclusive leadership, empowering women, youth, and minorities to lead the way.

Building a sustainable future: Cooperatives can embrace AI technology, access to finance via fintech, and implement solutions for climate mitigation and adaptation.

This agenda is a call to action for all. Here’s what each of us can do at 7 stakeholder levels:

Cooperatives: Invest in education, innovation, and collaboration. Encourage cooperation among cooperatives at a global scale. P6.coop. AI can now help.

Communities: Support local cooperatives and advocate for cooperative-friendly policies.

Civil society: Raise awareness about the benefits of cooperatives and collaborate through partnerships on social and environmental initiatives.

Private sector: Invest in cooperatives, partner with them, and promote cooperative values.

Opinion shapers: Highlight the positive impact of cooperatives and challenge misconceptions.

Governments: Create favorable policies, recognize cooperatives as key partners, and mainstream cooperative education.

Multilateral institutions: Support cooperative development and promote international cooperation.
