"BOOM SACCOS CELEBRATES ITS 8th AGM IN A GRAND WAY"

Kathmandu : Boom Savings and Credit Co-operative Ltd. (Boom Saccos)has conducted its 8^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in a grand way at its office in Bafal, Kathmandu on 15^th Poush 2073.

The Cooperative has stated that it has distributed handsome dividend to its shareholders and also announced a package of insurance for all its shareholders. Speaking at the programme The CEO of the cooperative Mrs. Prabina Rawal Pant has said that cooperative is doing well and distributed good dividend despite of the earth quake and the economic blockade last year. She has further emphasized to go hand to hand with share holders and plan to open service centre in Newroad of Kathmandu and form Boom Cooperative Service. Some members of the cooperative also promoted Boom Remittance Pvt. Ltd. which is doing well in remittance sector.

In the programme the cooperative sector personalities like Mr. Sita Ram Kafle, Mrs. Amrawati Maharjan and Mr. Rishi Ram Dhakal has told that despite of cooperative being three pillar of the economy, but government has least priority on it. Chairing the programme the Chairman of the cooperative Mrs. Chhaya Sharma has said that this cooperative has been distributing good dividends every year and has made good impact in the market. Mrs. Sharma said that cooperative is the major pillar of the economy. The programme was hosted by Mr. Dhirendra Pant, a well known remittance expert of Nepal.
