NCF Organizes Capacity Enhancement Training for Journos

Dhulikhel (Kavre) : A two day interactive program on ‘Capacity Enhancement of Journalists’ organized in Dhulikhel concluded today on a high.

The program, organized by the National Co-operative Federation-Nepal(NCF), the peak body of the co-operatives in Nepal, in coordination with the Nepal Society of Co-operative Journalist (CJN) saw the participation of 30 journalists affiliated with sole umbrella organization of the co-operative journos working across various media.

Inaugurating the gathering, the chairperson of the NCF Minraj Kadel told that the problem of the cooperative sector is gradually easing. He told ‘However the problem of liquidity crunch still hovers around us.

The President of the Nepal Society of Co-operative Journalist (CJN) Kaji Shrestha underscored the symbiotic role of media and cooperative movement to contribute to economic prosperity thereby fulfilling their respective duties in an honest and accountable manner. He thanked the NCF for organizing such an effective and meaningful program and also urged for the continuation of such events in the future as well.

During the program, the General Manager of the NCF Chitra Kumari Thamsuhang Subba, monitoring officer Achyutam Thapa, past president of the CJN Dilli Sapkota presented papers.

Leadership Consciousness Master Coach Indra Bahadur Gurung and psycho social counsellor Rajeshwori Shrestha took the charge of facilitating the participants with leadership crafts.
